I’d really love to see Ravine and Impact (Relay) appear in matchmaking. Is there any reason these maps aren’t being including in any playlists yet?
The new map pack added some cool big team maps, but I’d like to see some more small maps actually included in Matchmaking. I think including Relay or some other forge maps would add some (in my opinion) much needed variation.
So yeah, where are these maps?
They most likely won’t be added in until later. If they were put in matchmaking right away people would complain about it like they did in Reach.
From what I understand, the rendered lighting stuff creates some serious lag when you try to play a custom game over live. I haven’t tried it myself since the one friend who plays halo, doesn’t have gold at the moment.
Hopefully they fix whatever issue there is, because adding some forge creations would be awesome
For the complaining like Reach comment, I feel like using the defaults each map shipped with wouldn’t cause much complaint. I’m willing to bet most players don’t actually realize these exist or are specifically “forge maps”.

Relay is the only one worth adding. The Ravine and Erosion variants are terrible.
They’re trying to push their horrible DLC onto people as much as possible.
This has got to be the reason they’re keeping all the forge maps and good gametypes (Doubles, FFA, Snipers, Griffball, BTB Objective, etc) hostage.
