Well, it has been just over five months now since E3 when the forums took their first full on hammering.
We are still stuck with long time issues like:
• Search Bar for the forums is still unavailable
• My Topics doesn’t display ‘your topics’, it just displays Favourites and ones that have been posted in since you signed in.
• Help option doesn’t actually offer Help for the forums, just the YAF forum software in general
• Forum Online Status Pins - these appeared just before E3 and vanished.
• No notification of needing 6,001 posts for a Signature (or the fact the option is still there for users without Spartan - Iron)
• E-mail notifications are still broken
• Master of Unicorns rank still exists
• Statistics ALWAYS says 0 active users for last 5 minutes
• Last post X minutes ago by X. - doesn’t show the latest post and hasn’t done since E3.
The new forum design itself introduced a few new issues which are also known, so I won’t detail them.
I’m not trying to sound rude, but five months since a majority of the features went missing, and over a year since other bugs have been around, yet we still don’t know if these issues will be fixed any time soon, or why they haven’t.
The Search Bar is a necessity for a forum, especially a big one like Halo Waypoint.
