What I mean is playlists like Rumble Pit, Multi-Team, Action Sack, etc… Also the ability to play with a fun mindset rather than a competitive one. When everyone basically starts with DMR’s the idea of playing around with the AR for fun flys right out the window. I’m not ultra competitive but I can respect people that are and find it fun playing with the urge to win rather than for an entertainment purpose. Some people’s idea of fun varies. My idea of fun in Halo consists of playing party gametypes and playlists with many others that also have the same mindset… Run around like little kids and have a joyful time. That can’t possible happen in Halo 4. Their aren’t playlists for it and everyone plays with a way to serious attitude. Even Flood is made to be fun yet it get’s boring fairly quickly.
People play Halo 4 like it’s their job. People don’t play Halo 4 like it’s an entertainment asset. Halo 4 hasn’t been in my disk tray for like 2 weeks now. I’ve been playing Blops II. I’m not a huge fan of CoD but at least they can respect that some people like to take a break from standard gametypes and play something fun like Sticks and Stones.
PLEASE 343 give us some playlists like Action Sack and Multi-team back!
Problem is has anybody bothered to make the fun game-types from the past games in Halo 4? Half of them can’t be done due to the terrible customs. Without being able to search Fileshare in matchmaking and around the game, you can’t find the maps unless manually entering players names, which nobody bothers.
When my CoD buddies come over and watch me play Halo they feel too intimidated by the game. Most of them don’t see the fun factor. A few of them enjoyed pieces of Reach like Action Sack but none of them find anything appealing about Halo 4. They aren’t really competitive players so Halo 4 basically offers them nothing unlike previous Halo titles.
During CE days everyone was on even playing ground as that is where everything started.
Halo 2 offered Ranked and Unranked which gave the competitives a place to go and be competitive and the casuals/less skilled players a place to enjoy fun games with people of lesser skill.
Halo 3 offered Ranked and Social like Halo 2 plus the addition of double xp weekends which usually added some fun games.
Halo Reach didn’t really have ranked/unranked(arena was a failure among the competitive community.) but it did still have fun playlists like multi-team and action sack with the occasion community playlists and whatnot.
Halo 4 offers nothing when it comes to “fun/crazy/party” style games. I look at Halo 4’s playlists and cringe.
YES PLEASE. I have been waiting for these types of playlists for forever. my closest hope now is grifball coming up and the forge test playlist (leading me to believe they’re feeling ready to add custom/forge things in soon)

I’m more interested in the forge test playlist than any other playlist to makes it’s way into Halo 4 so far.
I’ve never played action sack in my life as i dont really have an interest in those gametypes. However, i think it would be great if they added more playlists to spice up the game overall.
