When you get lucky in Fiesta

So I was playing Fiesta with some pals, who I can summarize quite well.

The one that plays offensive rap, the one that camps with snipers, the one that has the lowest SR and the most skill, and the one that gets salty and loves to point out flaws.

And me.

And they were being some casuals but I was going at it. I had a plasma rifle and got their SPNKr Prime, somehow. Full reserve. I never died at this point. At the previous game the one that had the lowest SR almost went 15-0 but then the enemy pulled out a SPNKr and that was that. So everyone joked “Oh you’re just pulling off a friend that has the lowest SR and most amount of skill” and they were right. And with a SPNKr Prime in hand and a Vorpal Talon in the other, I dropped a Frenzy. An entire Frenzy. Wow, I’m almost a SR145 and I got a frenzy (not my first) I’m so good. But then I realized,“I could get a Perfection… YEP WHAT THE HECK I’M DOIN’ IT NOW.”

And then I got killed by some rockets…

No I didn’t. I got a Perfection.

At one point I almost ran out of SPNKr Prime ammo, BUT WOULDN’T YOU KNOW IT. There was one on the floor. And I took it’s ammo. There was also a sniper and I thought it would be fine if I took that. So once I had around 13-14 kills, and I was out of my Prime, I sat, in Blue Bend, on Truth. Behind cover. Picking off the only 2 enemies because they had s a l t y teammates.

Cool story… But as I like to point out SR has NOTHING to do with skill. SR is simply gained by completing games. Some one can start a new account and have a low SR and be good, or some one who is just good at Halo can be good with a low SR. Also a high SR doesn’t guarantee it’s a good player. It can be some one of average or below average skill but just has played a lot of H5. CSR rank is the only reflection of skill. Which CSR can be abused by really good players starting new accounts and sandbagging to get ranked lower. So try not to think of SR as some kind a gauge on how good a player is necessarily.

One time I spawned in with a Answer got a few kills then died. I respawned with another Answer. I quite possibly may be the luckiest man alive.

Sometimes you also just get that perfect weapon on that perfect map and you can go completely crazy with it.

I’ve never been much of a sniper, but one game I just got lucky and found a Nornfang while playing on Eden. I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario. The enemies all funneled towards me and I easily noscoped them all. Probably some of the most fun I’ve ever had in Halo.

And then there’s the occasional Brute Plasma Rifle and Plasma Pistol spawn which ruins it all.

One of my friends put it perfectly.

> Super Fiesta is the most chill gamemode. You can say that all of your successes are based off of skill and you can blame all your failures on unlucky spawns.

I got my second Perfection from Super Fiesta; 16 - 0 to be specific. Even now, I’m surprised that I managed to endure all of those shots and explosives from point A - Z.

I always get regular weapons for some reason the RNG of it all really hates me. So I guess my type is forced scavenger

recently I spawned with the answer, and then picked up a full nornfang…got two kills and then the game ended :frowning: :frowning: haha

I remember I kept spawning with plasma pistols and it seemed like everyone else had rockets or grenade launchers.

I got the prophets bane twice in one match. And a guy on the enemy team had one. may I say Wow people almost run right past me then SLASH dead. So O.P

Oddly enough, I do best in Fiesta with BR or Needler above anything else.

And yes I’m high level with below-average skill.

Had a game yesterday where I spawned with the beam rifle that causes singularities and a whispered truth. I have never been more excited to get that spawn because whispered truth is my favorite pistol and it was my first time using that beam. Well after I spawned a guy with prophet’s bane came out of left field and instantly became luckier than I was a moment ago

Definitely cried a lot after that

When I get a lucky spawn I just try to be as careful as possible not to loose it to a greedy teammate. To be honest I rather loose the weapon to the enemy, than to a greedy teammate.
