When would they release the beta for reach ? and how am i going to play it am i going to receive a beta code thru email ???
More than likely you’ll receive an email for any and all flights that you’re going to be invited to participate in. It’s going to be a bit though, because the release of Reach for MCC on Xbox and MCC for PC in general has been touted as “later this year,” so it could still be awhile.
that’s assuming they fix the email confirmation issue that seems to be affecting a lot of people at the moment…
They’ll release it when it’s ready. And you’ll get it through email.
As soon as flights are ready to begin they will start sending out details. If you’re still having issues with emails, please see the pinned thread at the top of the forums
It’s usually at the least opportune time possible. So if you have a big work meeting next week that you can’t miss. It’ll be then . Wife giving birth next month? You’ll get the email during. Personally I’m currently making plans to travel the world and buy the smallest picture of a cat from each country I visit. Important work that I’m sure will make a beta happen sooner.

I’ve heard a rumor that said 4-6 weeks. That would make sense. A lot of people getting out for Spring Break would mean that there would be a lot of testers.

Just rumour, there’s no definitive date for flighting to start right now
what i hope is that this comes out as fast as possible so we dont have to sit on our buts just waiting to test the games
Not gonna lie, I think it would really cool to release the beta or full game (assuming it ready) on May 3rd. Just for old times sake.

That would be way too soon. Id say next 4-6 weeks would also be a bit too soon but if the person that leaked MCC coming to PC said that then I guess it might happen.
I will honestly be very surprised if its within the next 4-6 weeks. I was expecting a few months off.
My guess is, that it will take a while. It sounded like they want to release MCC Reach on XONE and PC at the same time, which means it will most likely be late summer or fall this year, since they’re trying hard to make it playable on PC - I hope they do a better job with Halo then the other ms-studio did with Forza Horizon 4, which is still bugged after half a year PLUS you can’t capture gameplay with OBS/Xsplit for whatever reason.
IF they’re going to release it that late this year, Infinite wouldn’t come out this year… let’s hope I’m wrong.
We are going to play the beta “sooner than expected” (quoting them from the Halo MCC championship reveal on the 16th), some may start sooner than others, some of the firsts tests may just be stress tests so we all can play, it’s up for speculation. As for the actual release date, we’ll probably find out in May/June.
Anyways, be patient and you will be rewarded eventually.
Let them gather the people first, it just got announced and will be in some kind of preparation stage right now I assume.
The rumor going around states approximately in 4-6 weeks will flighting begin. This isn’t solid proof however and mere speculation at best.
