Will it eventually become like H3?
Maybe when Halo 4 comes out. I wish it were sooner though.
Ive forced all my friends to get the maps because the noble pack is an excellent pack, the defiant isnt as good but it still is a good pack.
Hopefully 343 will bring custom forged maps with dlc forged maps in to infection, and regular dlc maps into slayer, swat, and snipers, breakpoint into invasion, and highlands into BTB. or at least a feature to search for other map pack carriers because playing the same default and forged maps is getting old, even though there are a lot of them.

I know we all paid full price for the DLC, but they should just go ahead and make them 50% off (Not Free) permanently. Gamers are starting to wise up (Well, besides those people that pay $60 for CoD DLC every year)and wait for GOTY editions of games, or until the DLC is on sale. It just hurts the population of games.
Look at Homefront (Hit or miss game, personally, I liked it) as an example. It was already hard enough to get into a match, but if you had the DLC (320 points), you could hardly ever find a match.
That’s how it’s getting to be with Reach. If you want to play DLC maps, you have to have all of them and then play in only one playlist. Sure you can get them in the others, but the chances of getting a full lobby of owners is slim.
So I say, either make the price cut permanent, advertise the sale in the main menu (I didn’t know there was one until I saw it on here. Then again, I haven’t played a lot of Halo recently), or make more playlists require DLC and force people to buy them if they wont to play (And lose a large group of players as well).
Ahh I remember the good old times when they released DLC for Halo 2 and after a month or two make it free to avoid this problem (and/or be nice :D).
I hope they do this. Because I paid money for these maps and I do not even get to play them unless I play on the specific playlist. Which really sucks. But then again, they should not do it because then people will not want to buy the maps just to play the game. It’s kind of a rip off.
