When will we see new campaign footage?

There’s now only 2 months left until the game launches, and there hasn’t been anymore news about the campaign. I think this is about the time when most AAA games start their big marketing push.

As long as the campaign is fun, I think I’ll enjoy it. Even if it has a bad story.

I personally think they will nail it in a way any of us wont be expecting. There’s so much riding on it and MS knows this. The 343 team as well must be wanting their work to shine after so long being the butt of jokes against Halo5 especially. I think it will retain a lot of the dna that even all the sequels folowing Halo1 simply didn’t quite have. We shall see

My biggest concern though is they still haven’t said anything on if this game will be playable entirely offline if people want to. It’s a very big issue regarding down the line if we’ll be able to even access the game if servers don’t support that. Not an issue of weather people have internet but one of if anyone with internet at a certain point will be be able to play the game due to no servers. They pull servers often as recent games have shown resulting in people losing access to their game and considering we can play all the Halo games even 20 years from their launch, an online only campaign is bs

All 343 has to do state if it’s offline playable or not and so far they’ve mysteriously said nothing. At this point this should definitely be addressed

I’m sure there is going to be a launch trailer a week or two before it’s released, if not before. I think they’re trying not to reveal too much as to not ruin some surprises, that’s what I hope at least.

I think the big reveal in the campaign will be the return of the flood. They haven’t had any presence since CE, and were a hallmark of that campaign. They are trying to pull all the CE heartstrings and with this game taking place primarily on a Halo, I can almost guarantee we’ll be seeing the flood again.

After playing the tech previews, I have no doubt there will be a campaign (story) mode. I just hope the campaign is really good and if I may add - I hope it leads to a surprise return of The Flood.

Here it’s the opposite. Story is the most important thing for me. I’ll be so sad if it disappoints lol

I also think it’s time for a lot of campaign gameplay. Since the multiplayer is already more than publicized and known to everyone

Did you play Halo 2 and 3, or either of the Halo Wars games? The Flood’s been pretty prominent in the franchise even in recent years. It’s also never featured in any of the marketing for the other games, aside from the Awakening the Nightmare expansion for Halo Wars 2 (the whole expansion revolves around a Flood outbreak), so I wouldn’t expect it to appear in Infinite’s marketing, either.
