When do you think we will get Halo 5 news/gameplay? It would make sense for them to release some before the beta.
In the Halo 5: Guardians announcement, 343i said that we’d be getting more major Halo 5 news “late this year or early next year.”
I wouldn’t expect much until then. However, I’m sure that we’ll get some news about the Beta.
I’m counting on early December because everyone will still be on the Master Chief Collection and that will be the perfect time to excite Halo fans in my opinion.
We’ll be given some more news before the Beta. We might get a little tidbit at Gamescon.
But once that Beta is out, or even once the MCC, I’ll bet there’s going to be an explosion of news for Guardians.

As of now, its the MCC all they way to November, which may or may not be sprinkled with Halo 5 tidbits.
I would imagine a few weeks before the Beta goes live. Hardly a smart move to show off your game and engine and not show anything from it prior.

We’ll probably see some glimpses of the Halo 5 Beta close before it launches, but that will probably be the first major look at the game. Afterwords, we’ll get onto a schedule of ViDocs, interviews, excruciating info droughts leading up to E3, and then hype machines afterwords.
Probably not until December, I’m guessing. Right now they want to hype The Master Chief Collection.
Well, probably we should look what did 343 after the release of the Halo CEA, that happens in 2011 November and if I’m remeber correctly they given us the first look and a sample soundtarck in the next year (2012) spring so according to this I think we wont see/hear much until next year spring. And because the E3 they will need some hype to the MS show and maybe that’s why the spring is a good time to share a little more info about the new Halo 5 Guardian.
However I think they will give us a little in game footage trailer or teaser to the beta just like the Bungie did with Reach beta.
