I was Just Wondering when will they Release the Different Editions of the Game besides the Standard version of the game, such as Legendary edition or a Limited Edition since they already have released the game release Date. I would Figure pretty soon because of that reason. What do you guys think and what ideas should the Editions of the game should be like?
Well,it’s like asking when we will get new info…the answer is always the same:WHO KNOWS?
I think they’ll probably stick with the Limited and Legendary Edition names.
They do own everything Halo, including the names of the “special” Editions, so I don’t see why they’d switch it up now. Unless they’re that hard up to distance themselves from Bungie, the typical names would work just fine for me.
Most likely at E3 like with Reach and Halo 3(I think).
I Think they Confirmed that they will be showing more at E3:)
They’ll probably be discussing the various editions in a month or two.
For me, I hope to see:
Limited Edition: $79.99
- Universe-relevant case (like the ONI Black Box)
- Special Edition DVD (featuring developer commentary and other bonus videos, perhaps all the Halo 4 BTS vids, an RvB vid or two, that sort of stuff)
- Universe-Relevant item (like Halsey’s Journal or the printed Beastarium)
- In-game bonus content
- $79.99
Legendary Edition: $159.99
- All content of the Limited Edition
- Universe Relevant Container (like the Reach Space Crate)
- Master Chief/ Statue
- More Universe-relevant stuff (perhaps a random red or blue flag, Forerunner data logs, stuff like that)
- Addition in-game bonus content
- An extra DVD with more in-depth stuff (like Halo 3’s Legendary disc)
Mythic Edition: S199.99
- All content of the Legendary Edition with a different container
- Bonus Cortana companion statue
Halo 4 Special Edition Console: $399.99
- Made to look universe-relevant (like the Reach console)
- Spec-edition controllers (2x)
- In-game bonus content
- Premium Xbox 360 dashboard theme
- 500 GB HDD (I can dream, can’t I?)
So that’s me.
E3 would be my guess.
I’m guessing either E3 or Halofest, since either of those would be a good time to do so.

I Guess It’s gonna happen pretty soon then
Well I got the Halo 3 collectors edition, and all that resulted in was a crappy metal case that didn’t fit in my game/dvd rack and it the disc just floated around the case.
I mostly got the Reach regular edition for that reason (and I don’t really care about behind the scenes stuff and concept art, etc.)
So I still haven’t decided which version of Halo 4 to pre-order. I guess I will wait for when they announce what each version includes.
Oh but one comment I have about the legendary edition of Reach, the flaming helmet lost all specialism(?) because every spoiled 14 year old where mommy bought them the fancy one had the helmet now.
If legendary is in fact legendary I’ll be buying. 343, you have my faith!

I’m guessing it will be as BS Angel says: SOON!!!

Fixed
I dont think they should charge over $100 for anything except the console pack. I git thd legendary for Reach and my statue was messed and after 3 months no one used the red flames and Bungie gave everyone blue flames any way. The stuff is pretty cheap and I’d be glad to buy it as long as they dont over price it.
idk but i can’t wait to see what stuff they come out with

If you seriously think the statue that came with Reach wasn’t work at least $70, you must not be familiar with statue collecting.
I stand by my estimated prices.

Im
Also saying they messed mine up and it wasnt worth $70. Maybe atleast sell the statue seperatly for those who just want the dvds and journal type stuff.

I happened to notice your custom Xbox has a really small HDD.
But I would imagine they will have one, they have done it for lesser games.

I am 100% confident 343 will release the info sometime between today and November 6th.
Does that answer your question?
