Hello, im just wondering when the flight program is likely set to start. im not excepting a full date just a general time.
Hi, we don’t know exactly when flights will begin but my best guess would be this Summer. Here’s a quote from December’s Inside Infinite:

Make sure you’re registered as a Halo Insider if you want to participate in flights! Also we will probably learn more about flights this June during E3, and if not maybe during June’s Inside Infinite or July’s Inside Infinite etc

Each month there are blogs being released called Inside Infinite. It’s a way of giving us some information about the game each month. They’re scheduled to release on the last Thursday of each month - today.
I’d keep an eye out for these blogs. Whilst we don’t have much Flighting information yet I imagine that’ll probably be revealed in another one of these blogs in a few months time.
Hopefully, soon. They need to have the flights ready, so that feedback and bug fixes have time to materialize.
I’m hoping soon, I think if they give us multiple flights they’ll get response and improve upon it.
I would definitely feel like it’s soon. But probably best not to rush anything
I believe they said later this summer, so either late July or August.
For how much 343 has been posting about it lately I hope it’s soon. Maybe mid July at earliest but I wouldn’t be surprised if it would be August at some point.
