when will team slayer be free from dlc?

Just wondering, when will this happen? Wasnt suppose to stay just for 2 weeks?

I hope never! I LOVE having all the DLC maps come up!! :smiley:
Maybe they could make a separate playlist for the people who don’t have DLC, but one for the people who do have it!

Playing Monolith, Skyline, and other maps is plenty of fun.

Now if only it were limited to only Legendary Slayer.

343i never said anything about two weeks:

The Game of the Year edition of Halo 4 – which includes all Halo 4 map packs – launches in early October, so we scheduled this change for a time when we can gather data without its impact, then also with it. I’d like to stress this is an experiment, and is in no way, shape or form a permanent move at this time. The primary thing to note is we know you want to play your DLC more often, and we’re dedicated to doing everything we can to make that happen.

343i/Microsoft are planning on keeping Infinity Slayer DLC-required in order to see if it causes more people to buy the GotY edition. We will likely not see the DLC restriction lifted off of Infinity Slayer until sometime in November at the earliest (if ever).

You haven’t already? By all means play Halo 4 a bit but don’t neglect all the other games, I’ll swap between Halo 2/3/Reach/Wars/4 regularly

Hopefully never, why would people want to pay for DLC if they can’t play it? 343i did say that it was just a test, maybe they are satisfied with there test results.

I hope they leave it the way it is. Nice I can finally see some of the dlc I paid for. I do think perhaps they should have a non-dlc playlist though since so many people never bothered paying for it, although I can’t help but wonder why they only want to play on three maps. Nice to see something other than Haven picked. Looking forward to them doing something with the castle pack. Haven’t seen those maps since there release.

I’m always swapping too, but the thing that really bothers me about reach and 3 is that there’s no option to enter a game that was already being played. So a lot of times is just me and some other dude against 5 or it’s my whole team agains 2, and I f*** hate that.

Hopefully never. I payed $110 for this game and it’s DLC and I want to use it.

yeah you’re right, but yet, in halo 3 you can play social slayer and team slayer without the dlc…
