They will remain locked until you finish your current one, you can ony do one at a time. The default ‘Spartan-IV’ specialization is not complete until you reach SR-50, at which point you can then choose another specialization to use.
I am working through operator now… Just wondering when the other 6 come out.

After you complete the 10 levels of Operator, you can choose another - if you have the Limited Edition of the game, that is. I’m not sure when they’ll be released for the rest.

The general consensus is either the 20th of November or at the end of the month. 343 hasn’t really given us anything concrete enough to confirm these date for certain, though. I just hope they don’t wait a few months to give us something already in the game. 
Not meaning to be a -Yoink- bag or anything, but i hope specializations don’t unlock for people who bought the standard edition for at least another month if not later. I bought limited edition and i believe it would make the people who also bought it, feel as though we made a good investment. We pre-ordered the game at least two months before release and payed $100, we deserve it.
The halo 4 dashboard promotion said that people who played halo 4 between November 6-20 will be emailed a code between november 20-30 that’ll make the other 6 specialisations options available. The specialisations will be available to everyone after completing unknown community challenges coming in the near future.
tl:dr -> play halo 4 before nov 20 and you’ll get ‘‘early access’’ to the 6 other specialisations options. You’ll be stuck with operator/wetwork for a while if you play halo 4 for the first time after november 20.

You got plenty of extras to make it worth $100

So as I am a sr-68, I should be stuck at sr-70 for some months more because you paid $40 more than me?
In what world does this make sense. Has this game really turned into a if you pay more money you get more experience levels… if it has, this is a sad moment for gaming entirely.
I heard the 20th of November I really do hope so I been Spartan Rank 70 for two days . Everyone else in my friend list is to busy ranking up so I’m going to be playing Dota 2 until they release more.
