So, I played 3.5 hours of arena and 2.5 hours of warzone and all I got is this lousy BR laser sight mod? This really bothers me to be honest, are weapon mods awarded by rank or randomly? I only get the same req over and over, haven’t gotten the tasty stuff yet and that feels kind of unfair that others do get it. Not even a damn DMR for my loadout…seriously! The REQ system seems a bit broken to me and I’ll be -Yoink!- before I’ll be extorted out of my money to buy req packs.
tbh its all just random…ive been playing since release bought nothing but req silver and probably spent an easy 200k if not more req points and still no DMR. its all about the RNG and luck. Sooner or later if you just keep buying packs you will get every item if you play long enough.,
its just all about that luck luck luck.
I got quite a few Assault Rifle mods through silver packs.
If so, how does anyone even find this to be acceptable? In other games you would just unlock based on progression, which makes more sense really, for the standard loadout options. That would reward player perseverence. At least 343 should do something about the scarcity of some items.
Honestly, I hate how we have to unlock weapons, but once you find a few good ones, you will use them for a while. the best way i found to get at least the common weapons to have a nice verity is to get groups of 10 bronze packs and about 7-8 of them will have a common item. Silver could be a good one as well but bronze has the highest weapon unlock for me.
Which Packs have you been buying? Focus on Silvers and only Silvers, the base DMR and it’s variants can be obtained through Silvers as well as the most of the other weapon Variants.
I have gotten lots of armor and helmets lately, which was all I wanted when I started… now I’m getting into the game and realizing that everyone has these modded weapons that are giving them an edge and I am not keeping up.
I did get a silenced SMG and a motion tracker mod that increases my tracker range to 40m and makes me harder to detect. That’s not been particularly useful thus far, but maybe eventually…

I am at level 21 and still no weapon mods, I’ve bought tons of silver packs and a few gold. I have about 45 ghosts, which I don’t care about but no weapon mods. …which is what I want. I just want a long range br but can’t seem to unlock it. Any suggestions? I’m thinking of buying bronze packs to see if this helps
