I’m gonna throw it out there that I’m not the only one questioning why halo way point doesn’t have the file browser up and running. I was under the impression that these recent way point updates were to go in tandem with the development, publicity and release of halo 4. Which brings me to my point; If the latter is to be true, why hasn’t a halo 4 file browser been developed and posted on the way point website to coincide with the release of halo 4? I don’t know whether it’s just delays or some other form of software fault, but to me it’s coming across like a lack of communication between the administrators of halo way point and the developers of 343i.
It’ll be coming up 3 weeks next Tuesday since halo 4 was released, and no file browser in that time frame is kinda taking the gypsies kiss. What are your thoughts?
it was either that or delay the game for about a month and have the threads RAGE!!! with complaints “OMG 343 Y NO RELEASE GAME WHEN U SAY U RELEASE GAME!!! Y U LIE!!! I WONT BUY THE GAME ILL EITHER GET IT USED OR I WILL JUST BUY BLACK OPS!!! I HATE U!!!”
> > So silly they released the game unfinished huh…

Trust me, I love halo; I’ve loved it since the very first game. I just think that there needs to be better communication between the people who work for 343i and halo way point. And I despise call of duty, games like that show just how crap the games development industry can be.

Because 3 years to make an FPS with a 10 hour Campaign and 13 MP maps isn’t enough time?
Give me a break, please, the hypocrisy of you people astound me. You do realise 3 years for ANY game other than MMOs is considered a great development time right? 3 years should give a polished title for any game, ESPECIALLY an FPS. Hell, Skyrim was made in 4 years. That has 300 hours+ of unique content.
It’s 343i’s fault for not utilising their time properly. If you can’t admit that then you’re a great doormat of a consumer, 343i will definitely make some nice money off you.
sad that its still not working but just a heads up you can download peoples maps if you search there gamer tag!! but you just gotta find people who made maps and put it on there fileshare
you would have thought theyd done it in the first update at least, i hope 343 are actualy listening and if they are they should have done something by now

Whooo now, I understand your frustration, and I know the development cycle for games as well. But 343i isn’t responsible for file browsing, it’s down to the admins of way point. Way point is charged with stat keeping and file sharing, I went on to the 343i website yesterday and… Well… It’s pretty bland and useless, poor website design. Which is why I think the break down in communication is to blame. I don’t think they were being hypercritical at all, I think they’re just as frustrated as you and me.

> Shame too. This game has very awesome things to it.
Indeed, a development company which can hold its hands up and say they goofed is a company I can put my faith in to. More honesty is needed for the people who follow them and put the money in their pockets. I agree that the halo franchise is in great hands, it just needs to book its ideas up a little bit more.
