I would guess that it will take something like 1-2 months. However, there has been no date announced but it will be very exciting to play these games on Xbox one instead on my 360.
Alot of people are saying September (on Halo 3’s 10th anniversary) which is my guess as well. I’m hoping they surprise us and say August but we won’t know anything for sure until they formally announce it.

In this case everything is already done. It’s just a copy and paste type of deal. It’s not like if they’re creating a brand new game or changing things drastically.
I’m thinking September but I hope they do it before the 10th anniversary of Halo 3 so we can be playing jt already ON that day

So they say, but they had to release fixes to stabilize Reach’s framerate, so I don’t think the process quite as simple as they claim it to be.

They have to make sure everything works correctly with the emulation.
343i said that the games are currently being played and tested, to achieve optimum standards. If they rush the game, we might end up with another Halo TMCC. I would rather wait longer but get the original Halo 4 than have it rushed and broken. I don’t think 343i knows themselves, when it will be backwards compatable. It will be ready when it’s ready. I am looking forward to though. Hopefully we get a date soon as 343i knows.
