One of the main reason for that 6-month long roadmap should’ve been “More than anything else, we want this roadmap to be accurate and reliable”. Droppod is on that roadmap and was described that “Our target is one Drop Pod every month,”
Now the first month of S2 has passed, droppod is still nowhere to be seen. This roadmap already failed in being “acucrate and reliable” after only one month.
And 343i is now in radio silence AGAIN. This is how trust running out.

To their defense, which I will not be doing a lot of moving forward, they did mention that their drop pod release cadence is something they’re working towards. Every month is the goal, not where they’re at.
As for the radio silence? No clue, typical 343 behavior. Not even a little lip service to tide us over.
What are the drop pods suppose to be anyway?
FYI:
Quality of life (QoL) is shorthand for bug-fixes, new features and/or content to address issues negatively impacting player experience. We’ll be delivering QoL improvements as part of Season releases and as separate updates during Seasons.
Our player-facing term for QoL updates that land during Seasons is “Drop Pods.” And much like their ODST namesakes, these release vehicles are meant to drop in hot, just as soon as they’re ready. Our target is one Drop Pod every month, and you can expect Drop Pods to vary in scope and size. We’ll have more to share about what’s going into Season 2’s Drop Pods as soon as possible after Season 2 launch.

There’s a chance it’s irrelevant, but the Xbox Showcase being right around the corner might have some impact. There’s kind of a general news lull across the industry until 1-2 days before an event of that size, even if the news seems unrelated
