They won’t.
They’ll just keep the drip feeding the occasional cleverly-worded platitudes, that make it seem like they have things in hand.
I don’t expect this game to be properly fixed for at least 6 months.

I guess I don’t know what Holiday pay even is unfortunately. I usually work all but 3 days out of the year. 
But even then, if I had such a huge responsibility for potentially millions, wouldn’t you sacrifice sometimes?
The game industry is almost nothing but sacrifice for 99% of the people that work in it. Years long crunch. Bad pay. Crappy practices. Taking a few weeks off is necessary sometimes.
Also, if you read the pinned message, it sounds like there was a team that worked through the holidays to investigate the BTB playlist bug.

like i get that it’s hard to trouble shoot software especially games, but they know BTB is broken and yet there are still weekly challenges tied to it that’s the thing that bugs me the most
