When will 343i respond to our concerns?

Seems like 343i is being extremely quiet since all the backlash. Can we please get some sort of response that they heard big specific issues and that they’re working on them?

I just want to know what’s going on and what their main focuses are. I hope they reevaluate their seasons and start pushing out content as soon as possible.

We need content 343i.

I really hope they will respond tomorrow when the new weekly update goes online. The silence is not so nice.

I believe they’ve typically released statements on Tuesdays when the challenges reset and there’s new weekly stuff, right? (correct me if I’m wrong, I just usually notice their statements in-game when I log in on Tuesdays)

Tomorrow will mark the first full week since they’ve been back from the holidays, so I’m expecting some kind of announcement tomorrow.

I’ll echo what the other two replies have already said and say that we should cross our fingers for something tomorrow. 343’s had their R&R. They’re refreshed from that final stretch of development last fall, and now they owe us a lot of answers.

I hope we hear something soon. We don’t have a roadmap for any new maps, weapons, etc until May when the Season ends. It hard for me to fathom not getting any new content (aside from a couple of minor cosmetic events) for another 4 and a 1/2 months.

No new content until May!? No way… I sure hope not as well.

They’ve certainly not said anything about new content prior to season 2.

I don’t think 343 has any idea how to actually launch and run a live service game.

I would work endlessly to make this game right. Why do they not have any passion or show any honor for Halo?

I think a lot of the lower level devs probably do have a lot of passion for the game. Problem is that all the middle/upper management at 343 who make the most impactful decisions have always only cared about bean counting at the expense of their community and games.

They’ve been on vacation? Xmas! New Year? Heard of them? They’re back in the office now so the work will begin.

Because virtually every game studio in the world shuts down for the holidays and it doesn’t matter how passionate you are: you’re not gonna get work done when the office is completely empty.

Also, it’s a product and this is a business. There is no “honor for Halo.” It’s a game, not some royal lineage.

You won’t hear from them ever lol they made profit and don’t care anymore.

Yeah they have to change that idea asap. We can’t wait that long for new content. The population is struggling already.

You made this post after they posted and pinned a statement in this very forum…

I mean, maps can take a long time to make and we were just told today they’d be sharing a roadmap in the near future. So maybe wait for the roadmap before speculating on when specific content is dropping. Something like an infection playlist could literally drop within weeks because it’s easier to implement that than it is to create a whole new map from scratch.

Also, I don’t think the population is struggling at all. People post the downward trend on steam charts, but literally every major FPS release does the exact same thing. Population seems healthy enough for where the game is at.

The population is really not struggling at all. Don’t just post any old crap.

The population has dropped a crap ton. The steam numbers show that and by how most of us feel on here I’m pretty sure Xbox took a huge hit too. Am infection playlist like the guy mentioned above isn’t going to solve the issue.

Also it’s pretty obvious that the games taking a hit in every aspect. I want this game to succeed but to act like it’s not going in a downward spiral is just being obvious to the situation.

Seeing as it only went from the 2nd most MS game to the 4th, it’s obvious it didn’t take that huge of a drop

I literally addressed this. Every. Single. Game. Does. This.

Barring insanely popular games that become colossal hits. You can load up any major FPS release and the chart follows the same trend.

When the Pro League Circuit burns to the ground and the majority of profits come from players rather than marketing for the Pro League.

Steam is the smallest population by a considerable margin, lol. Also, every single game has a huge drop off after a month. Most people don’t complete games, most don’t even invest in games. The majority sample games and dip between a lot of different games to get a feel for what’s out there.
