So I’ve been preparing another complete run through of the halo series and now that I own strike I wanted to include the two mobile titles into the run through and I’m really confused where they fit between the main games. As in when they were developed and put into service. as in the spartan Assault program and the Spartan Strike classified operations additions thanks!
Halo Spartan Assault takes place between Halo 3 and Halo 4.
Halo Spartan Strike takes place during the beginning of Halo 2 at the start of the game and near the end of Halo 4 for the rest.
The Spartan Assault simulation seems to have been placed in service before Halo 4, while the Spartan Strike simulation seems to have been added sometime before the Infinity got to Requiem.

Spartan Strike happens 100% 2557 after December 5th due to Roland being there.
Spartan Assault can happen anytime after December 5th 2557 due to Roland being in the game, and there being no mention of what year the simulation takes place.

Spartan Assault happens in 2554
Spartan Strike happens in a mix in 2552 and 2557.
Spartan Strike’s first half is about a team of ODST’s in New Mombasa during Halo 2, but remember, the Spartan headhunter we play as in the game is viewing the events as a simulation, possibly so if the Conduit is found he is prepared.
The second half takes place after Halo 4 when the Conduits signal is detected by both the Covenant remnants and the UNSC.
Spartan assault takes place between Halo 3 and Halo 4.
