This is something i want to see in Halo 5. Him sit down and eat a Burger with Chilly Cheese fries. That would make me buy Halo 5, that would be worth it to me. Of course great gameplay is amazing but i don’t know why this would make any Halo game to me. (in all seriousness) I don’t recall MC ever having a meal and i don’t think he got the chance to during any of the Halo events.
When he got to Reach up to the End of Halo 4. Where or when did he ever just order a bite to eat. Seeing MC and his fellow Spartans grab a meal.
Well, he probably had some of those supposedly horrible tasting energy food bars mentioned in Glasslands. Other than that I’m sure he ate before Halo 2, and maybe on the Infinity if the Cafeteria didn’t get wrecked.
You know, I want to see Chief eating inside the Infinity after it crashed on Requiem now. Everything is destroyed and he’s just eating. Hmm, is there some way we can do this without showing his face?

Well, we can put a paper bag with a hole in his head if that makes you comfortable.

Maybe he can just stick food through some hole in the top of his helmet.

The last time the Chief ate was on the Infinity. Sometime before he “stole” a fully armed and operational Pelican.
As we no know, the Spartan IV formula is the first yet artificial human means of evolving like how Forerunners do.
The SII’s are the 2nd wave of humans to receive a beta-form of this artificial means of evolving and are no different in an evolved sense than the SIII’s or SIV’s.
Now the S1’s are the first, the alpha-forms, of evolved humans. More enhanced than augmented, still the first in the step of evolving similar to the Forerunners.
This came from a gene song in Dr. Halsey, a genetic Gambit Roulette from the Librarian in an attempt to prepare the galaxy for not only the return of the Flood, but perhaps both the remnants of the Forerunner.
This came with a bonus… A suit that will soon be capable of Forerunner capabilities.
Already can the MJOLNIR house an AI that bonds and enhances the user. But long before that a benefit of the Forerunner suit was unlocked, the ability to recycle the user’s waste back into useful energy and water for the user to sustain longer in the field.
… Plus the suit holds a few rations and can tell the user what flora and fauna are edible if the need be.
Well for starters he can reuse all his water. He had numerous times he could eat in halo ce. He ate before halo 2 started and probably ate before he got to Delta halo. Then he had a chance during the second mission of halo 3, then in the middle while going to the ark, and again before attacking the control center on the ark. The next time would most likely be on the infinity during halo 4. Also im pretty sure spartan armor can carry energy bars that he can have when ever. He has had tons of chances to eat, it would be stupid if they showed it.
I can picture him eating a bowl of chili and cornbread, he’s hunched over and it’s from the back so you don’t see his face and just all around him are dead covenant who got in his way while he was enjoying his meal…that makes me happy
Spartan II’s can go days without nutrition. But it would be nice to see the Chief doing some “normal” for once, that being sleeping, eating, or even reading a Playboy while on the… well john. (Last one was for humour obviously).
In any case it would be nice to see him carrying a tray into the cafeteria and he sits alone of course, from there we can focus on what he has on the tray and just see the back of his head as he sits down to enjoy his meal, from there we can cut to another table with some Spartan IV’s/Marines talking in awe wondering if that’s really the Chief, some soldiers are about to go talk to him but a Spartan IV stops them saying, “Let the man eat, he’s been gone for the past 4 years who knows when was his last meal.”
Not only will we see Chief being human, but some respect for the SIV’s will be gained.
It would be humanizing to just see the Chief walking through a cafeteria without his armor in his undersuit like the SIV’s and walking to a table to sit by himself and eat his first real meal in years. As the others in the cafeteria stare in awe as they wonder if it is really the chief sitting there eating… Maybe Palmer sitting next to him and just eating with him, waiting till he’s done to finally ask him something.
