When The Frick Is HI Coming Out
you will most likely find out in June
Fall 2021. Most likely around November 15th since that’s CE’s 20th Anniversary
When the frick will I be able to buy a Series X, though!
What’s stock like in the US?
In Aus, it’s an impossibility trying to get one!
Stock goes out in minutes, it seems, and then the scalpers start putting them on Ebay the same day.
Only one store Aus-wide has had stock in the last month.
Off-topic, sorry OP. Somewhat related though…

It’s about the same here, same with some computer hardware as well (Graphics cards/GPUs in particular). I am I the US and maybe by the end of this year the availability will be slightly better but more likely it will be some time in 2022 before the computer chip shortage becomes less of an issue.
Most likely we well find out in June during E3 for an exact release date but Infinite likely will come out mid-November.

Gahhhhhhh!
It’s mostly because of the massive uptick in home office equipment, and increasingly computerised cares, isn’t it? (and orange mans trade war)
I was perusing info for shares in companies that own chip foundries last month… If I check now I’d probably kick myself for not getting in haha.
But damn! I’m so impatient
-Yoink!-, capitalism! I’m just an impatient consumer, take my damn money!

It is more because of slower production time for the new GPUs and the cryptocurrency industry which relies heavily on multi-GPU “mining” rigs has exploded. I have seen many mining rigs for sale with as many as 10 of the latest generation GPUs in them and they are ran hard until the GPUs wear down and start having performance issues which doesn’t take all that long with cryptocurrency mining.
My bet is 15 November for the 20th anniversary. It’s almost a month after the 19 October release of the Divine Wind novel and last year Shadows of Reach should have released a month before the originally intended release date
Makes zero sense to release a book too soon after a game release - and too soon before could also harm sales too. A month before when fans are thirsty is perfectly timed
Fall 2021, we don’t have definitive release date just yet. That will likely come around E3 in June
