Do you know when the cut contents and previously spartan points come?
All we heard was in November. It may be in two weeks, when the monthly challenges reset.
Thank you for the information
Any news? [Post must be at least 20 characters]
10:18 PST here and the update isn’t even here yet.
The November Update was not today; normal monthly reset.
Probably next week [Post must be at least 20 characters]
At this point, you may have to accept the possibility that this update won’t be in November. The fact that new news articles are now simply calling it the “next update” instead of the “November update” should be a sign.
yeah maybe 343 forgor ![]()
but we will see next week
“While you wait for the upcoming MCC update”…
sigh.
It’s going to be sometime in December. If it was going to be in November we would have already gotten an announcement of the update two weeks in advance.
“Sad Face”
They still have until early next week, but signs point to a December release.
Hopefully we get a new update soon with Steam Deck support since haven’t touched MCC in a while due to EAC issues making it impossible to do challenges.
They didnt add linux compatibility for EAC, thats why you cant do challenges or MM on steam deck. Wouldnt be too hard to change that for 343, according to this statement from Epic

Epic Online Services exists to connect developers and players across all platforms, including the upcoming Steam Deck, and we’re excited to take another step in that direction.
Earlier this year, Easy Anti-Cheat for Windows games was made available to all developers, for free. Today, we extend support to Linux and Mac for developers who maintain full native builds of their games for these platforms.
To make it easy for developers to ship their games across PC platforms, support for the Wine and Proton compatibility layers on Linux is included. Starting with the latest SDK release, developers can activate anti-cheat support for Linux via Wine or Proton with just a few clicks in the Epic Online Services Developer Portal.
Easy Anti-Cheat is available for free through Epic Online Services on all PC platforms, helping all developers to uphold a fair and safe gaming experience for players on the operating system of their choice.

From a 343 MCC developer
We continue to work with Valve and EAC to enable EAC support on Steam Deck for Master Chief Collection. The addition of the easyanticheat_x64.so file is one of the prerequisites to getting this working, but there are ongoing compatibility issues that our three teams are collectively working to resolve.*
I would love to provide more specifics, but the ongoing compatibility issues mean we only have a few pieces to the overall puzzle as everyone’s working through their side.
Can confirm we ticked the box.
I feel like every game I have EAC on is at least partially unstable when it comes to online play.
Note that the MCC Developers comment was from Mid-September. Infinite works flawlessly , but MCC will take years to solve this unsolvable issue.
That is true the comment is a bit stale at this point, but a lot of folks haven’t seen it. Infinite is one engine whereas the MCC consist of 8 engines not including the anniversary graphics engines. The comment from the devs implies that all 3 teams (EAC, Valve, and 343) are working to debug the issue which very well maybe a fruitless endeavor. The complexity of compatibility across everything in the MCC must be a huge pain in the -Yoink!-.
Saw this posted on Reddit. The embarrassment continues, as we get drip fed updates from random social media posts

They should’ve given a proper notification, a while back.
But hey sounds like they’re making the patch choc-full and Steam Workshop is a big deal. Very excited.
