That will never happen again. Sorry, but that was only for the 20th anniversary of Bungie, the 10th of Halo, and Bungie’s farewell gift.
I do believe there will be no more oppurtunitys to earn the Eternal armor effect.

Never. Bungie does not have any control over the Halo series anymore.
Future Bungie days will not longer revolve around Halo. 343 owns it now. Besides, the flames are long gone from being available anymore.

Do you think in halo 4 or the trilogy in general 343 will be giving away limited items, for example the blue flame, during their run? just wondering if there is any such thing to look forwards to. 
I was one of the lucky few to get the blue flame, but if they were just given out again, it’d be like recon on Halo 3. It’d be really disappointing and ruins the idea of it.
I used the blue flame as an example. I dont expect a blue flame to ever be available again. I’m just wondering if, perhaps a armor effect or special helmet or something. just wondering if any giveaways will occur again. I wasnt a halo fan at this time and missed the blue flame. it sounds cool to participate in and I’m just wondering if I may have the chance to…

I dont see what the big deal is about the flames being blue? I mean sure it’s special. but I prefer the legendary edition flames better. If only they didn’t cost as much as the entire legendary collection by themselves… but rampant monitor, I am intrigued by this other account. It would be interesting to experiance these flames for myself. mind if I PM?
Never, Bungie is not associated with halo anymore, but maybe we can look forward for some Halo 4 content like this from 343i

About once a week, sometimes more. I think we should have a sticky thread titled “i can haz blue flame” and just merge all other threads into it.

The issue with the Eternal Armor Effect (the blue flames), is that it was once Bungie exclusive as well as the Bungie nameplate to differentiate Bungie employees from regular players. Last July (which was the final Bungie day for Halo) marked an important event for Halo, Bungie, 343i, and Microsoft (to a lesser extent…) in that it was Bungie’s last hurrah, Halo’s big transition (which lasted until April of this year when Recon was handed out for Halo 3, ending the transition) from Bungie to 343i began, and 343i took a more active role in the franchise. This was celebrated with two things: The Eternal Armor Effect and the nameplate were given out to those who played multiplayer online that day, and the Bungie vs. The World playlist, which rewarded players who got a Steaktacular medal on that day with a USDA Grade-A steak mailed to you.
