Finally does come out which time period in Halo do you think it will be set.Could it be based on the book “Halo fall of Reach”,Could it be based on Halo CE or could it even be based on Halo 4,5 or 6 ? Cast your opinion below.

I dont think anythings been confirmed yet and I dont they will ever make a halo movie.
It would be impossible to get it right without people complaining.
But if they did, the safest thing to do would be going back to CE, at least no one will say its not halo, well I guess they could but it’s still the safest option if you want to keep the fans happy.
I hope they dont do a Halo CE the movie - Its been done to many times Game, Book, New Game.
If anything they should either do Fall of Reach or the continuation of Contact Harvest (Cole’s campaign)
I would prefer Coles campaign…
But i gave up hope for a Halo movie about 3 years ago
I have a feeling, that when they are done with this trilogy, or the games in general, they will make a movie. By then, special affects and technology will be great. So it would work out, as long as, ya know, they have money.
I read somewhere (Official MS, 343i, Bungie) that a Halo movie had been planned and started then ditched.
Why would you even need a movie with so much content available already. I loved Heart of Midlothian, HeadHunters, Forward unto Dawn etc, etc that you get on Waypoint anyway
Now we have Spartan Ops and this hopefully will grow into weekly content running like a TV serial which will be IMO much better than a film
I doubt it will happen, but a movie based on The Fall of Reach would be perfect. I’d be in heaven.
A movie on each book. Hell, if they only did a movie on The Fall of Reach I would be fan girl all over.

back in the halo 3 days they started and half completed a halo movie but they could not finish to the same standard as it was that good it used up the whole budget.

Microsoft seemed to get a bum rap regarding their negotiation with Hollywood.
After watching the shitfest that is:
Tomb Raider
Doom
etc…
I would not want any of these chimps to defile Halo…
If they ever make a Halo movie it should definitely be based on the Fall of Reach. It wouldn’t make any sense to make a film about any other story set in the Halo universe.
Look at the hunger games then think about Reach. Reach would be the best way to kick off the Halo series. Just keep canon and well…a Halo movie would be GREAT. FUD seemed like a test for a Halo movie and it definitely passed.
