I really like to take a look at the forum, but I know leaks are so close. When should I stop taking a look at the forum if I want to avoid spoilers?

The moderators are banning pre halo 5 leaks and spoilers so you don’t have to worry until halo 5 drops.
The 8th. Fully expecting H5 to be IGN first of September due the fact that we know pretty much nothing about the game (even though might not be much story stuff in this, possible a day or two of content)

It’s not me that bans them. And I didn’t take offense (I don’t get offended easily, especially over the Internet) I just said it wasn’t funny

Fact: When you go blind, you stop seeing things. OT… no one really knows when to go dark. It’s something you have to gauge yourself.

OP could still see a spoiler before we find it and take it down. We’ll do our best to knock out spoilers quickly, but it’s rather difficult to predict them in advance, so the only guaranteed way to avoid spoilers is to stay off of any Halo-related part of the web. Anything less than that is a trade-off between discussing the game and risking a spoiler, and that’s really something you’ll have to decide on yourself.
Aside from that, retailers generally receive copies of a game before launch day. These copies aren’t supposed to be sold until launch day, but sometimes, a few people will get and play a copy early. You may want to ditch the forums for up to a week before launch day, if you’re really worried about it.
Honestly, right now is a good time to sign off. The wait is not too much longer, get a few other games that can occupy you for a month and a half, if possible.
According to simms we have almost 49 days until the launch so now would be a good time to leave the forums
Now. The less time you’re here or on other Halo-related pages, the less likely you are to see leaks or spoilers.
If you’re super story sensitive then now would be a good time. Otherwise you should be able to wait till next month.
I’ll probably wait a couple of weeks before release. I’m just GLUED to the forums.

October 1st is the cutoff point, IGN first will have little bits this month. Only thing you should see are the official launch trailers and live-action in October, don’t look at comments of course
I’m leaving as soon as I hear the game has gone gold. Once disks begin to be printed anything can happen.
That said, I’ll be listening to #huntthetruth Season 2, but won’t watch anything else.
