How do you react and what do you do when such a thing ever happens?
I for one just go up, and betray the player. Problem solved.
I swear then go and have a cig that’s about it from me.
It doesm’t bug me to have it happen to me - but, on the other hand, I absolutely love doing it!
It cracks me up every time I hear the announcer go “YOINK!” - the only one funnier than that is “BUSTED!” from H4.
My real favourite, though, is “SHOWSTOPPER!”
If it happens in Rumble Pit I would be pretty pissed. I hate getting my kills stolen in a match where it’s everyone for themselves.
I just melee their shields and leave it at that. No need to risk a boot.
I absolutely hate it. I don’t have a fit of that, but I still don’t like it.
I react very calmly in response to an enemymate stealing one of my precious assassinations. First, I approach the offender and kindly ask for an explanation. While I am interrogating them, I place a sticky grenade on their person to make sure I get a good answer. After the explosion fades away, I move on to searching their corpse for additional motive; this process requires me to repeatedly kneel down to the ground as I serenely scour every one of their armor compartments. Once all is said and done, I enjoy sending them a hyperlink that often ends in trash.jpg, not in any way referring to their skill level or even to their moral vacuum, but instead letting them know that I will search to the end of the earth for a good explanation as to why they yoinked me, even if that search leads me to garbage cans or worse.
I’ll just crouch to punch the dead, “yoinked” victim. You know, making sure that they really feel owned… Seriously though, I just love those Haloesque moments. Makes for great movies/pics on fileshare!
It doesn’t bother me. They are helping me to secure the kill.
What’s worse is being killed by the other team while you are performing the assassination.
- If my team mate steals the kill at least it’s +1 for my team.

I don’t know why but when I read this, I kept hearing Patrick Stewart’s voice saying it in my mind. lol
I yell a lot and cuss a lot. But that’s it, I don’t seek vengeance. I just shake it off, no vengeance taken.

Depends on how much of a Reach--Yoink!- they are. Usually I’d just shoot them in the head once. Other times I may have outright killed them. Can’t say I really remember, it’s been two years since I played MM on it.
Well first I play this very “innocent” audio file from my mouth. Click at your own risk, very vulgar language.
Then I repeatedly interrogate my victim, with my bullets. After the professional interrogation, I take on the very prestigious job of crouching upon him during his sleep time.

I get very unhappy. No, not at my teammates who killed the player. That I am actually very glad. I just want the other team to die. I don’t care if it’s by me or my teammate.
What I get mad at is the stupid game doing the assassination when all I wanted to do was hit the guy in the back quickly and move on. I wish I could disbale that feature in my controls options. I hate assassinations and even more when they trigger when I don’t want them to.
So if my teammate kills the guy I was assassinating? Good. Gets me out of that stupid animation so I can keep on demolishing the enemy quicker.
As for me killing another guy’s assassination, not my problem. I kill anything that isn’t our teams color and if they are two slow to kill I will gladly help them out with that kill. If someone on my team would betray me for that then I just laugh. They are not only hurting the team now but acting like a child. No one betrays me though. I’m pretty good at avoiding bullets from rage faced teammates who don’t understand the concept of ‘team play’. All that matters is we win the match, not your pretty assassination animation.
