So far 343 has let go large amounts of info through large conventions but to my knowledge there aren’t really any big ones for awhile (correct me if I’m wrong). With that said whats are next big event to learn more about the game? Are there any big events going on in the near future?

I don’t understand why people want to know all the weapons and armor abilities etc before the game comes out. Wouldn’t it be better to wait until November so you can have a few surprises while actually playing the game?
To be perfectly honest, I hope there isn’t another info dump. The game is about three months away from release, correct? Why not just keep the rest as a surprise?
But if they really must show something, I hope it’s only 2-3 more multiplayer maps and some footage of stuff returning from past Halo games. No campaign gameplay, no Spartan Ops, no new weapons being shown off.
Three months away, probably nothing too much. Some small stuff closer to launch, and maybe some clarifications soon, but that’s probably it.

Of course, And I’m sure 343 has quite a few juicy secrets they’re guarding up to release, but that doesn’t mean i’m not excited for any new info the DO decide to release.

well they still need to show info of how the game is progressing plus some clarification on ideas or things they mentioned but until now haven’t been able to show us.
Also they’d want to show some new modes to give an introduction to them so players aren’t baffled once they jump into war games with them. For instance they still need to show off some of the objective modes that are returning and the changes they’ve made to them or weapons like the rail gun and EMP grenade.
I wouldn’t mind it if they’d show this off on the same maps or even on forged maps (which I think would be better since it shows off how much more forge can do now/ knock two birds out with one stone) but as long as they keep us updated on whats happening

You have a point there. I suppose my main concern is wanting to have most of the campaign, Spartan Ops and some new weapons, vehicles and enemy classes be a surprise for the time I play the game. I want to see a new guy and be like “Holy ****! What is that thing!”, or pick up a weapon and not know what it is or what it does.
But showing us multiplayer modes? I’m all for that for sure! Gameplay for weapons that we already know about but have never seen before? That too!

Main reason for me as I can’t even preorder the game and don’t have the money to buy it until next year…Hence why I like to know everything about a game, including sales population and influx…Just to see if the game is actually worth buying or not, like halo reach, I bought it mainly because I like forge, but if forge is 10 times better in Halo 4, I’ll be buying it to…but if not and sales are horrible, then I’ll stick to moving on to buying something new or wait until Halo 5 or 6 or 7 come out, since I did predict there were going to be 6 halo games after all when the first one came out, and I was pretty close…

Come on now… This is Halo 4 we’re talking about… The sales won’t be horrible, that’s a given.
You never know, people thought MW3 sales were going to be Awesome and it ended up being 40% less expected income as it was to MW2 and black ops, so you have to wonder…
I really hope there isn’t that much info release except maybe some clarifications on stuff already mention. I just want a reason to actually play the game.
