Any more info on the ranking system?
Is it going to be a visible 1-50 system?
Didn’t they say late April? Can’t recall exactly.

They said late April. Everyone will say no, it won’t be visible but I think it will be.

They have already said that it won’t be visible in-game to reduce boosting and cheating. It isn’t something that the community just made up.
Maybe April, definitely not in-game. Rank will be visible in Waypoint ONLY.

I still haven’t seen it in a weekly update. Gotta a link to said statement? The best part is making it invisible won’t change any of that LOL.

The CSR experience, which will work on basically any phone, will work basically exactly the same as Halo 3, but you simply glance at your phone or other smartglass device to see your current skill rank. This may be marginally less simple than seeing it in game, but the fact that it will make CSR less appealing to scumbags and de-rankers is well worth the ‘inconvenience’ of looking at your phone.

well they will learn from it especially if those who are affected by it are as vocal as the community is now.

Like every other time I see something about this they leave it open. I’m yet to see a definitive answer. These same people said the Mantis would not be in MM. I think they are trying to implement it but aren’t 100% sure they can due to coding. Keep hope alive.

I heard February…but guess they pushed it back. it wont be visible apparently you will only be able to see it on halo waypoint so it takes the point of it away entirely.
ridiculous … just visible on the site is to send more people as possible on halowaipoint…

It’s in a weekly bulletin about a month? or so back I believe. You can do that research, but it states that it will only be visible via phone app, 360 app, & web. which is a complete and utter fail. It’s basically like it doesn’t even matter. It not being visible is the wrong thing regardless of the boosting or cheating, because that’s going to occur regardless. But this is 343 we’re talking about no need to get expectation up too high, we saw their supposed final product called Halo 4. It would make sense that they screw us again on the ranking system, and make it pointless.

The only problem I have is that there is a glitch with SmartGlass that won’t let me connect via WiFi. I can luckily connect to my Halo SmartGlass maybe one in 50 times. I’ve stopped trying. I have seen many others talking in forums online about this problem.
If your rank falls in the woods, but nobody is there to see it…
i dont think they said it wont be visible. they said it will be able to be viewed via waypoint. so everybody is assumining it wont be in game because the words in game werent used

There is a difference between hope and expectations. I don’t expect anything but hope my assumptions are correct. If it never happens then it’s no different than it is now and I’m OK with that. I have Smartglass in my pocket at all times as well as my 360 sitting next to my computer.

They have a way of saying things that can mean one thing but leave it open to change. I just remember the update saying you’ll have a rank for every playlist and your highest will be visible on Waypoint. That could mean it will all be visible only on Waypoint or just the highest while being visible in game. It’s just very odd that it says Mastery up until you select a playlist. I don’t buy the whole glitch concept. Now it’s possible they are simply testing to see if it will be possible to put in that spot and it it doesn’t work they will simply put Mastery back in that location.
