Even if they did bring a progression system out it would have no meaning just a rising number.
343 need to understand that a progression needs to have meaning and make the time worth more. A progression system with value that links to cosmetics currency and satisfaction.
The game needs a stable economy that makes us want to keep coming back to grow our wealth and acquire cosmetics though skill and time spent. A mixture of both.
I was thinking about Infinite today and the only thing that’s worth any value are the badges you get that state what division you are in.
And you get that after 10 - 20 games!

Should have just put mcc’s progression system at launch and updated it or changed things as went along. kind of progressing towards nothing at the moment.
Maybe I like Infinite as have adhd so my brain has always been in beta, so can relate better

That too, I did mean to say Reach or mcc, either would of been great, it didn’t really need any major adjustments other than to fit in with Infinite, as much as 343 know we want it, at least there is some sort of progress going on with it.
It’s such a shame as even with f2p with a progression system it would have kept a more consistent player base which would have meant more people that would have most likely bought something. Even though iv’e played since CE I find myself not playing so much because I’m not progressing towards anything.
Absolutely likewise. I am playiny my weekly challenges and nothing else.
If there were even commendations with unlocks tied to them only I’d probably play more, but yeah unless I see friends on who I want to play with
I just watch the latest mint blitz video and he said progression system has been confirmed for season 4.

Nice to hear, I’d much rather it be ready and drop rather than drop and be broken, glad they kind of testing it now, I’m hoping for some kind of system like reach or mcc with ranks, obviously modified to fit in better with Infinite, and no doubt when it does come there will be some tweaks or adjustments that will need to be made.
Just a shame there won’t be a forum now to discuss it
