They Add Halo 3 ODST they will need more than that to compensate for such a horrific experience. They need to throw Halo Reach in there aswell if they have any hope of getting fans back. I mean look at what happened to Halo 4 it was out for a little while then there was everyone back on Reach.

Adding a single player campaign (ODST) is a bit different from adding a fully fledged game including campaign and Multiplayer. I don’t see them doing it due to the probability of community split and the fact it will take too much effort and time. If they only added the campaign many including myself would miss the multiplayer, despite it not being popular with everyone. Maybe in the far future, but not soon.

Agreed since loved the original Firefight before Reach ruined it…on that note I wouldn’t mind seeing Reach, Wars ported over eventually too.
I’m happy to hear about ODST, but I would love them to add Reach.
Plus it technically makes more sense for Reach to be in TMCC as Chief has a brief cameo. I imagine they chose ODST over Reach due to the size.

Or quality of product. ODST was a much better game IMO. Reach created so many holes in the canon I would prefer it was dropped from the continuity.
I still believe they’re saving a Reach port for the stretch between H5 and the release of H6. Either way, it’s inevitable that Reach will be ported over; just a question of when.

It won’t be including Firefight. As said in Bonnie Ross’s blog post, it will be the campaign.

This must be fixed. FF was the best part of ODST. The campaign was new and a great deviation from the traditional Halo formula , but FF pushed it over the top.
I agree Halo ODST Should be part of this its short story was actually rich and well enjoyable.
But Reach really needs to be added as it adds to the Spartan Story and is prologue to S-117.
Quit being greedy. They didn’t have to do anything at all.

Of course not, but that would be a douchy thing to do. I would also try to do something back for the fans if at first everything was a disaster. The 1 month free live is basically necessary as many people wasted a month including myself.

ODST is fantastic. For the time being Reach isn’t necessary, though if they decide to go ahead with it in the future, sure why not.
All in all, I’d prefer Halo Wars.
