halo 4 is a huge let down. anyone who says this game is good has never played any of the other halos. reply what u want but it will not change my mind. i am complaining hoping someone will finally hear everyone out. here are some things that need attention.
grenades suck
needs rumble pit
no load outs
set weapons on map and have a respawn
ordinance is dumb-should have to fight for certain weapons
have a regular slayer and your slayer pro
starting without br and only having a couple at a time makes game fun
br battles are all the same no up close and personal battles like the first halos
i dont know what makes you pro when u have br anyways it takes less skill to kill someone than with any of the other weapons
dont call me a noob cuz im better than you with or without br. just so we have that straight.
needs all the playlist that made halo popular.

they just have to admit they were not the ones for the job and maybe should pass the tourch to infinity ward or treyarch since they are trying to copy CoD.
halo 4 has made my halo reach 10x cooler to play even tho that wasnt the best one either at least they didnt remake a whole new game.

dont try and change my mind i gave this game plenty of chances and still regret buying it wish i wouldve purchased black ops 2 and thats a first i always had halo before CoD, halo 2 was great didnt play halo 3 that much cuz played 2 until i couldnt anymore. so yeah

Stopped reading here. You’re kidding right. 343 put a large dent in the series, but IW or 3arch would shove C4 down it’s throat and detonate it. That is a horrible idea. I was starting to agree with you until I saw this, then I was all “Nope, this guy ain’t serious.”

This community make’s me sad. It’s a shame really that not alot of people can have fun in Halo 4. Yes it has it’s flaw’s but it still a good game, but people just exaggerate and try to pull Halo 4 into the ground. The community also confuses me by never being happy at anything, for example: “343i SHOULD BE COMMUNICATING WITH US MORE” and now that they start to communicate with us more they say that it doesn’t mean anything. I know the community isn’t run by a hive mind but they act like they are.

Yes, the game is kinda bad, but it’s not too bad. I enjoy it at times. I played the game a couple days ago and had a little fun, you know, minus the DMR/Boltshot/Camo d-bags camping their masses off. But, their’s always gonna be at least one of those guys, no matter what, and when I kill him, I am satisfied.
Overall, the game is good, has quite a few things that need to be fixed, but it’s good. When stuff like this happens, I think of it like this: “Their’s something OP in the game, it should be fixed. Everyone uses it. Don’t blame the game, blame everyone else for abusing this power.” Soon those weapons should be nerfed. Or at least give us a classic playlist with 1 preset loadout with no DMR or Boltshot.

With each installment they change the game more and more, so that it resembles less of the first games. Obviously most of those who liked Halo 1-3 will hate every new installment then. I think Halo 4 is better than Halo Reach but it’s still the second worst in the series gameplay wise, for me. The reason for that is that I think with a few changes the game can become very good: remove sprint, remove the DMR, place weapons on map, insert better maps, and remove much of what helps everyone get God aim in Halo 4.
I’ve only been recently into Halo. I played Halo CE PC first, I loved it, specially multiplayer. Because of this, I bought an Xbox and played Halo 3, about halfway through it’s lifespan.
I don’t know if getting late into the franchise is making me less mad about the changes being made than someone from the 2001, but I’ve enjoyed the classic gametypes and gameplay as much as them. And I don’t see anything bad in the change of gameplay actually.
I enjoyed Reach by the way, so yeah, burn me, I’ve enjoyed Halo 3, OSDT, even Wars, I’ve certainly enjoyed Halo CE. Halo 4 is no different for me, I love the fiction, the multiplayer… there is of course the obvious issues, but that doesn’t make this game “suck”. I’ts a good game… not the 8th wonder of the world of gaming, but a good game regardless.

I’ve played every Halo game on the 360 and Halo 4 may be the best, still not sure. It definately has some stufff wwhich can be fixed but that doesn’t bother me too much. The main thing which does is the lack of playlists.

Yes. You joining in the middle of the franchise does affect your way of thinking about the game play mechanics. The more you do a certain thing, the more you will think that it’s the only way to do it. So in this case, the more you have played Halo 1-3 (with the same game mechanics), the bigger the chance is for you to dislike other type of game mechanics.
Anyway, if you totally ignore the fact that people do not like change, and look at the game mechanics alone they are really not that good for gameplay anyway, and they destroy more than they do good.

SILENCE YOU STAFF CAPTAIN! Anyways, your grammar and spelling is poor. Who are you to say that I have not played any of the other Halo games? I played all of them and I grew up with Halo. 343 did not fail. You failed. I would like to 1v1 you to see if you really are better than me with the Battle Rifle. BR battles are still up close and personal bro. I don’t know what you are saying in this forum. Before you rant, learn to properly spell, use proper grammar, and list valid reasons for why this game is terrible because to me, none of those reasons made any sense! Please, Halo Reach was much worse than Halo 4. You’re not a true Halo fan if you haven’t played every Halo game a lot!
