I don’t get it why are the covenant attacking if they had a truss with the humans. It can’t be the storm faction because they busy on that planet I think it’s called requiem .
So is FOD set during the human covenant war or after?

its hard to believe he’s so young. kids that were picked to be Spartans was always in their early teens. After the operation they had voices and bodies of full grown athletes that are in their mid 20’s.

yeah, they were usually kidnapped at around ages 6/7. Kinda messed up.
The year 2526, shortly after the First Contact with the Covenant, and only around a year or less after John-117 became Master Chief and a full fledged Spartan, he is around 15-16 years old at the time of Forward Unto Dawn.

Darn, Chief must have had a lot of -Yoink!- at a young age.
Their training was pretty brutal, then the Augmentations, well even worse, there bodies were honed to the extent before Augmentation, Surgery, of that of a Olympic Athlete due to all the training they were forced to go through.
After their augmentation this became even more so, with the use of the Growth Hormone Therapy that was administered and the other extremely painful processes.
