When Infinite hits Twitch

I tend to watch a fair amount of Twitch while at work. It just often plays in the background while I do my job and from time to time I can check in. With the way viewership numbers are what they are, I believe having a lot of eyeballs on your game through streaming is something devs pay attention to more, so I’m sure 343 will try to make sure Infinite has a strong presence on Twitch.

However, I don’t believe the traditional shooter has the viewership that battle royale games do. BR’s on Twitch are extremely watchable beyond just their popularity. I love Halo but it’s never very popular on the platform most likely because shooters don’t perform as well.

I truly hope Infinite will do well on streaming platforms because I love Halo and I’m tired of the BR genre. Even the personalities I like, I can’t watch because I am exhausted by BR (looking at you, Warzone).

What do you think will be the keys to seeing Infinite as a success on Twitch and other services?

I’d rather play it than watch it , so I don’t care how it looks or plays on twitch and any changes the devs make should only be with the player in mind not the viewer . It’s up to the streamer /content creator to entertain you
