Oh my goodness, please. I’ll mute people for obnoxious callouts or pinging but I can still hear and see the pings, this is even worse when players are spamming with the Superintendent voice, it’s all extremely annoying.
This is unrelated to the title, but the studio should also work on implementing Nvidia reflex to Halo Infinite PC. It lowers overall latency and increases the number of valid frames to shoot during movement, so players on supported systems who enable it on games with the implementation will have more precise interactions.
Thanks, both of these would be helpful quality of life changes to make this game even better.
Real talk, how do you mute people in this game? I tried doing it the way old games did it, but maybe I’m missing something? People coming in blaring music through their mic, is less than enjoyable. I like dialogue, but not everything coming through is enjoyable.
I’ve only had one player per game that’s an issue if I ever have one. And I already have voices off anyways. How many people are you gonna be muting both for at the same time?
Yeah, hitting TAB already locks your controls so you should be able to hit Middle Mouse Button or something to unlock the cursor to mute people, and being able to just tap a button on controller with scoreboard open sounds pretty nice.
Yeah, this should be what is seen when hitting Esc + TAB with an option to ‘Squelch Chat & Pings’ or something.
