…they put their trust in one another. The player depends on the game to not betray his/her principles, and the game likes the player to play with it.
So one day Mrs. Reach cheated on Mr. Player by giving in to temptation from Mr. 343. The player was appalled when she announced that they had made hateful playlists together. They spawned firefight doubles and repeated updates to the arena. But he stood by her, as long as she never did it again. They one day she announced some of the playlists she and the player had spawned together were closing. They were all lovely playlists, but they caught a disease called “Frankieandkikidon’tlikethisplaylistsothereforenobodydoesitis”. They die this august. Will you campaign for a vaccine? Mr. 343 seems like a lovely man, but he caused this disease. Will you save the playlists.

I agree. Very nice analogy BTW.
ZeroPointFox, please vote and post opinions.
But I did vote already. Me and Shanez seem to be the only ones who voted. Also, it’s not very difficult to find my opinion on the matter.
how the hell does a game have independent thought and feelings?

The same way you can compare Vanilla and TU to ice cream.

that comparison doesn’t work …

eh… I may have worded that wrong, but it’s an analogy the OP is using, and it’s pretty humorous.

Firstly, biased poll is biased. If you want people to respond legitimately, don’t make one like that again. Secondly, the situation stands there are far too many factors to consider when dropping or consolidating playlists within Reach’s MM experience and the biggest one is the players. 343 had to take things into consideration like how this is going to work, what changes need to be made, how will the community react, what can we do to make the experience better, etc… All of these are not for you to determine. Yes, I’m upset some of those playlists are disappearing and yes, I’m disappointed 343 has chosen to not look further into the matter and maybe taken a poll to see what the online community would have wanted, posted an article on Xbox Waypoint to say, “Vote now or forever hold your peace” (bad joke, I know), and/or made a window for players to see when they loaded up Reach. The fact is, the tools are there and it didn’t happen, but the important thing about this is not about trashing 343. It’s about the fact that players need to stop acting like this when situations like this don’t occur and grow up (tall order, I know). No playlist is guaranteed to stay, no different then the tens of hundreds of others that aren’t on Reach anymore.
OK Why violated Mrs. Reach? Was it you?

It’s just a videogame series.
I don’t love Halo and never will.
I loved the great times Halo CE, 2 and 3 gave me when gaming with mates. Reach not so much and since Halo 4 = extra features from COD I ain’t preordering.
I already tried COD MW3 and it was awful but it helped me understand where Bungie’s/343i’s inspiration came from.

You got it. Wallet envy.
