So I was watching Watchmojo as I do on most of their video games. Their major flaws when they make video game top 10s is they will praise certain video games in one video ( Halo 3- best Xbox 360 Exclusive and best multiplayer game- yet not even in the list of top 10 best 7th generation games)
If you are not aware, they are a huge channel on YouTube, with over 12m subs.
Their only bias seems to be that they generally believe that Halo 4 was not good (near-universal opinion) and they really dislike choices made in Halo 5 (no splitscreen especially)

There are 6 #1 rankings for Video Game videos out of maybe 50 total. That means over 10% of their top pick in the video is related to Halo. BUT today they uploaded a new video, and I KNEW Halo would be on their. The same video game series they have picked in so many videos (and easily the most featured franchise in all of their game videos)

This didn’t even surprise me. I expected it to be #2, actually next to MGS. MGS turned out to be #2.
In the video they explicitly state how splitscreen was a HUGE turnoff for many fans. They talk about removing the classic staple of splitscreen and how 343 turns off casual fans by including lore in the campaign from books etc. This is something I have hated since Halo 4. It requires you to buy books and spend lots of time getting engaged with the lore. Back in 2007 there was just Ghosts of Onyx, and everyone bought that. That was the only hope people had for Halo 4, and probably where the Blue Team idea for Halo 5 came from. But in 2016, the lore has exploded into an anime, short films, books, comics, and I don’t even know what else. So many things seen in Halo 5 are easily confusing for new fans, from the opening mission to the end. Even I didn’t know who the members of Team Red or whatever they are called besides Buck and Locke.

THE POINT IS, WHEN A HUGE CHANNEL SUCH AS WATCHMOJO CAN EASILY CRITICIZE HALO BY POINTING OUT TWO AREAS WHERE HALO CAN IMPROVE, 343 SHOULD REALLY LISTEN. THE OTHER IMPORTANT FACT IS HOW HIGH UP HALO WAS IN THE VIDEO. #3 IS PROBABLY NOT A GOOD RANK TO BE IN ON THIS VIDEO, AND A FRANCHISE WITH THE PRESTIGE OF HALO SHOULD NOT BE ON THIS VIDEO AT ALL
What do you guys think of this news? The point is, this isn’t a biased Halo channel making this. No Halofollower, no LNG, no Greenskull, but a very big channel on YouTube whose main job is just to make top ten videos.
