So check and certify it ahead of time. My god, other developers manage to set a specific date for content release, but 343 can’t?
Other developers don’t always get the DLC out on time there can always be delays and 343 probably would rather the update be spot on instead of just throwing it out and having a bunch of issues where it gives you the chance to rip on them more. There is such a thing as patience and I’m starting to learn not as many people have it as they used to…

It’s not about patience (we’ve already waited two months for this) it’s about the fact that we still don’t have a clue when the update is coming out in the week it is supposed to come out. I personally don’t even care about the update, I am just tired of everyone acting like it is totally unjustified for people to want to know the damn release date for something they are waiting for. Think about it this way, in any other job, when your boss asks you when a project will be completed, is it acceptable to say “oh, it’ll be done sometime in the third week of December”? No, especially when you are in the third week of December and you still haven’t told your boss when you’ll be done.
Also, give it a rest with the whole “better to have it working and wait than now and broken” false dichotomy. No one wants a broken product, and if they need more time that is fine, but tell your damn audience when it is coming. Why not just say it will come out on the 20th and if it is done early, all the better. 343 seems incapable of making decisions that don’t cause controversy.

343i said “this week”, but for some reason they can’t tell us the exact day and time. Shouldn’t they have released that information at least a week ago?

Tru. So they did tell us when it’s coming. No one said it had to be this day at this this hour
They said it will be this week. not everything is in thier control but im sure they want it out asap they are not sitting in the office maliciously chuckling with thier hand over a button to release the dlc
