I just wanna know when the BR start ends in the beta, since it started no one picks up any weapon unless its a sword or sniper, and usually they just sit in the same place the whole game like the walkways on eden.
For the love of God, end the BR starts! It’s the same thing I hated about Halo 2. First time I played Halo 5 beta I was over the moon excited. Felt fresh and so fun! Then the BR starts begin… Barely touched Slayer. I don’t want to sit around firing one gun for 20 minutes. Call me crazy. “Well, BR is all about skill and you just don’t understand competitive…” I don’t care! It. Isn’t. Fun!
Its predictable. Stale. And caters only to the “I only use a BR” crowd. Stop forcing Halo to be COD. Pot shots all day. I don’t CARE about if I won. I just want to enjoy it!

Yeah seriously, using nothing but precision weapons all the time gets super boring.
Favoriting this. I didn’t get a chance to play with AR starts because of the holidays and BR starts seems boring. Same thing over and over again. Hoping that AR starts are for the last week.
Falleax, it’s not halo. That’s the point. Don’t ever go for guns, or be playing and down and scramble to get something… Nah, got my BR. I’ll just squat in the shade on Regret. Woo! So fun! Melee? That is sooooo halo 1. BR is all I need. So then it becomes another game. Not Halo.
I think I’ve only touched the melee button twice since BR starts have been running.

Ugh…people start with AR’s sprint to get a precision weapon or power weapon so what is the difference?
Example: map- truth AR starts. What does everyone sprint for right away? Thaat’s Right the BR. If they don’t get it they rush window Dmr.

The thing is with AR starts there’s not 4 enemy BRs at once hardly ever so you are much less likely to get insta-killed from teamshots and much less likely to get spawn killed.

It’s called variety, I don’t want to use the one weapon over and over again. I may as well be playing CoD.
There are only ever two BRs and DMRs on a map at a Time and Power weapons come every 5 minutes, by the time they are used up they respawn.
I hate long range battles, your just jumping in and out of cover until someone ether get’s help or they leave their position. AR keep it interesting because it becomes a close quarters fight, things get intense when someone goes for that last melee hit because they are out of ammo(Or decides to switch to Pistol).

What happens when the entire enemy team controls the BRs/DMRs/.LRs and you are fighting them with an AR/Pistol. You have zero chance of regaining any momentum to control the map. This happened all the time when I played with my team on Ar/Pistol matches. We win the initial fight on Truth, everyone gets a precision weapon and we dominate the other team 50-10. To me that is not fun, I’d rather lose 50-49 in BR starts than steaking people all day.

Then their team just sucks, Halo has always been about map control and knowing the map.
