When does new season start?

I just wanted someone to 99% confirm or deny that the new season will have started in 9 hours?
does anyone know? It will be the 1st here by then…so…?

Is this true? I have not seen or heard about it anywhere and at least two very popular H5 twitch streamers referenced ranks resetting today. Is there a link to any official announcement from 343 regarding changing or extending season length?

Wow, I just saw something very non-definitive on Bravo’s twitter about waiting until sometime in the future to consider resetting the ranks. I’m all for less frequent, or even no resets, but the fact that they say nothing until the very last day is pretty unbelievable. Lots of people base how and when they play on the resets. They have come to expect them based on every single season so far. Now a sudden change with no warning? It’s really amazing 343 is still in business considering the way they communicate with their customers pretty much consists of flipping them the bird. They continue to prove themselves rank amateurs at the customer relations aspect of running a business. SMH

I would think they would at least wait til the free play days are over. Dont really want the freeloaders messing up the ranking system. I mean, its a perfect system, and we wouldnt want anything to disrupt that perfection

ROGLMAO! Love the sarcasm. Pretty much feel the same way.

Side note: ranks can not reset, ever, and that would be fine by me!

I thought ranks reset occured the first of every month. I hope they stop doing that, I’m tired of playing 10 matches to find my rank

Resetting once every 3 months (winter, spring, summer, fall) would be so much better. Even every 6 months is fine with me.
Fix that and add permanent team doubles playlists with regular halo 5 maps and we’ll get off 343s back for this BS
