When I saw the official artwork for Halo’s 20 year anniversary, there was a conspicuously accurate and polished Mark V armor displayed. Judging how the cover art for Shadows of Reach was likely a paint-over of Infinite’s 3d assets (for the spartans), I am assuming that the Mark V shown on the anniversary artwork is based on a new Mark V 3d model- potentially, it was originally intended to be added into the game on Halo’s 20th anniversary, but was delayed since the game was delayed as well. So, I leave this up to speculation: when do you think will be most plausible of a time for this armor core to be added into Infinite? (likely through an event).
