TSIA, when do you think the TV series will take place?
Hopefully after Halo 4. I’d rather see a show than another “flashback/prequel”. I’d actually really like to have said TV show to show Spark’s voyage to find the Librarian.
Hopefully within a year. I can’t wait.
I still say the TV show will be our second season of spartan ops. The Infinity returns to earth and Lasky has a meeting with Osman introducing her character again. I think we will be still following as Majestic and chase after Jul.

I doubt it, if only because they’d have to find actors that look nearly exactly like the team members.
(I do hope they do that, though!)
Having Nathan Fillion re-cast as Buck would be neat. Storyline wise? Make him enlist as a Spartan IV, then lead to story elements that would have him team up with John.
It would most likely take place in-between the start of the human-covie war and the end. It would give them great flexibility in story, events, characters, and more seasons since it is a long period of time. I highly doubt it would be post halo 4 since that is for the games and anything in-between halo 4 and 3 would give them no flexibility and it would just be plain boring. The only other period of time i could see would be pre-halo firing since it would give the same advantages.

I agree. If they go with the Human/Covenant war, then they have two decades of time to expand on. You can do a lot, especially with the five-year battle of Harvest. Although if they do it in between Halo: 4 and Halo: 5, then that gives them some more room to expand on some of the characters.
(And it’s possible to find people based on the real characters, but the voices might not be the same. They did the same thing with the live-action short movie of “Assassin’s Creed: Lineage”. Characters looked like the ones from the game, but the voices were different–Something I didn’t care for because I knew who was who.)

I’d rather it tell a new story, particularly in the Human-Covenant War. Maybe parts of it will be about civilian life, something we haven’t seen before.
But I definitely don’t want it to be Season II of Halo: Infinity… This kind of representation was enough…
My guess is that the TV show will take place on the Infinity.
I’d love to have Nathan Fillion recast as Buck and follow him as an ODST throughout the war. And honestly I want them to take a but of a break from the Infinity. They’re making the series a bit to focused on the ship and not much else.
