TSIA, when do you think they will announce the title for Halo Xbox One, do you think they’ll say it by the end of this year or early next year?

Christmas time maybe or launch of Xbox One.

Perhaps Gamescom? That’s pretty soon and if 343i wanted to get a beta out, it would be best to start revealing soon.

I think the proper reveal will come during the Video Game Awards on SPIKE this December. Halo Reach was revealed during the VGA’s so it wouldn’t be the first time.

I can only think of 3 times it could happen

-Gamescom (unlikely)

  • VGAs (likely and best optimal timing to announce a beta)

  • E3 (extremely likely and cutting it close for a beta, yea sure there is plenty of time before nov, but I would prefer a march/april beta so it is far enough for launch for them to perfect)

OT: If, granted if, there is a beta, which they should do, it needs to be a live beta, not a demo we see all the time in console betas nor wait til launch to see the changes. Over the course of the month it should change with feedback so we can feel the changes and as soon as its perfect they need to yank it out of our hands and tease us until launch…giggity.

At least that way we can have as epic of a launch as halo 3 and hopefully the population can remain healthy. With the xb1 I don’t see why there would be a technical problem with a live beta now either.
