They’ll bolt-on more MP “STORY” before they get anywhere near adding on to Infinites campaign.
That said id still like to see it(campaign additions) happen

They did a canon fodder article where they mention that the state of the universe is meant to be a mystery.
No it isn’t. The characters haven’t asked that question or shown any real interest in it. They’re in this vague situation of hiding from something. They say they’re going to look for Zeta Halo and Chief. Forgot about that. Then it’s about these two Spartans and decoding an archive. Random Banished AI shows up.
It’s not like they’re saying “Galaxies gone dark. We need to know what’s going on out there.”. You know to clue us in that we are meant to be asking these questions like “what’s up with UNSC” “how’s Earth”.
So if a twist does come like, the Bansihed are occupying Earth, there’s Created Remnant, the Endless are loose; it’s just going to come out of nowhere.
So far it just hasn’t provided any real narrative hook.

So, what you’re saying is they’re ditching infinite completely??
I’m hoping for 2023 but my guess is 2024, maybe later in that year. They need to do something because I think Halo Infinite’s campaign had terrible story telling. (The multiplayer narratives aren’t any better, just a cutscene explaining why several more challenges will be tossed into the hat of other random challenges)

Most likely 2025-2026. but Hey just wait until co-op lands and you can team up with your friends and blast through the campaign … and we are doing what? The next release will be the typical 4-5 years that’s the way it has always been,
Halo Infinite is a linear game with a fake wanna-be open world. Maybe they can pull their boots up and buckle down to pull out a win, who knows, but they sure are keeping everyone in the dark. And so I should keep paying for the game pass … why?? I have already paid for this game many times over.
They can’t even add co op, its delusional to think they will even add campaign DLC
If it’s the quality of the main campaign, I honestly doesn’t need it, no matter when.

Going off what has been said on the net it looks like after 2025. It’s also being said that Staten is taking full control. (I don’t know how much of what’s being said is true,) but if it is. That’s pretty damn lame to have to wait that long for an expansion.

I hope the Campaign DLC follows off the Multiplayer DLC an we get to use other Spartan 4s… with the addition of 4 player co-op it mayve a party.

In the promotional window prior to infinite’s campaign I recall Staton saying something about the MP spartans were always considered to be canon in the games, but obviously not the direct focus.
They probably have more ideas in store for whatever their PvEvP/Firefight thing will be & then find a way to circle that into Chiefs stuff or the other way around.

Sorry but if the next campaign DLC for this game isn’t releasing until 2025 nobody is going to care by then.

I’m really dissapointed by the Halo Infinite campaign (and I’m just talking about the campaign). The game arrives a year late without being finished, it lacks biomes and animals. The story is an introduction that strongly calls for a sequel. And now we are told that the next DLC will not arrive before 2025, so not before 2026 with the usual year of delay! It’s scandalous! In the good old days, we had Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3 without having so many expectations, today they prefer to focus on multiplayer stories that are useless and on micro-transactions. The campaign should be their priority!

Here’s what’s funny, they reversed roles between halo 5 and halo infinite
1: halo 5’s campaign was trash, and halo 5’s pvp was the best by far.
2: halo infinite did a complete opposite, halo infinite campaign was the best by far the halo infinite pvp is absolute trash.
Why the hell can’t both campaign and pvp be good, why does it always have to be one or the other!?! They add something but they also take a bunch of stuff away in the process. Like how they brought back the reach type customization but removed colors and freedom to do anything free. You have to buy all the stuff that used to be free in previous games……
