As we all know The Flood are an integral part of the Halo Universe, I was surprised that they weren’t featured in Halo 4 to be honest.
When do you think we’ll see them?
Yes, this is the Reclaimer trilogy after all. Humanity will likely have to prove themselves as being worthy of the title ‘reclaimer’, and this will likely mean having to fight and contain the Flood.
I’m actually really looking forward to the Flood returning. Like the OP said, they’re an intrinsic part of the Halo universe. Due to 343i’s brilliant work at art and visuals in Halo 4, I have no doubt that the Flood will look anything less than terrifying. Hopefully they should be fun to fight too!
It would be kind of cool to finally see the flood assimilate grunts and jackals. I know that the reason they didn’t do this is because they wanted to only use biomass for combat if it was strong enough, and they would just take grunts and jackals and make them into the Gravemind. But it would still be cool. And if the flood comes back, then a gravemind should come to fruition.
