When did you got your first dmr? i’m level 91 and i haven’t got ANY dmr, nor halo 2 br or any special kind of magnum, Guess i’m unlucky af😑
I think I was around rank 110 when I got it.
I think I got my first one around rank 40. I did the thing where I first bought only bronze REQ packs until I got every common and if I recall correctly also uncommon items, then silver packs to get the rare items and lastly the gold packs to get everything else. That probably helped.
Got mine super early. Maybe 20 or 30? Though I know people who got it much much later
which packs are you buying? Should start with Bronze, then Silver and then Gold. That’ll make things easier for you if you haven’t already.

yeah i didn’t start good, gold all the way you know, but now i’m doing it the right way hope i get i REALLY need the commendation
I’m at SR146 and still have only the basic magnum.
Furthermore, while I love the DMR and prefer it to the BR, unfortunately, by the time I reach the REQ level to equip the DMR, I’m mostly in vehicles. So I don’t really get to use the DMR much.
Level 91 and I have still not unlocked the Halo 2 BR which I have been trying to get for ages.
Im level 61 and just got dmr. Haven’t got any special magnums or the halo 2 br. pretty annoying

They’re all random from the packs, the halo 2 br was the very last load out I unlocked. If you open req packs efficiently, you should have everything unlocked around SR 120-130
I sort of remember getting a dmr early on in my Spartan Ranks. That was like 2015 though…
Rank 96. I remember it well. it seems regardless of what packs you open it trends to occur only around rank 100, even past 130 I still don’t have a magnum variant so i guess It’s either intended to make people buy packs or ensure the progression system forces you to dedicate more time to it
I got it around SR 45. I got the Halo 2 BR at around 125 and the Magnums in the 130s iirc.
SR40 I think, but that’s a rough guess it’s been quite a while since I unlocked it.
For unlocking stuff just sell all req cards except RP boosts so you can buy more silver packs.

Yes mate you did the right thing, unfortunately, me on the other hand, didn’t did it that way and was just GOLD ALL THE WAY, i’m doing it the right way rn hope i FINALLY get it cause i really need it for the commendation!
I actually think I got one very early from a daily login pack. Just the basic DMR, and I probably didn’t get another DMR variant for a very long time after.

You must be very unlucky. I am like Level 70 or something and I have a good amount of pretty much every type commendation. Just keep grinding.
It was within the first week of launch I believe. I remember being surprised when my friends had difficulties getting it, but I now see I was the outlier getting it so early.
I got really lucky and got the base DMR at level 37.

Holy -Yoink- mate and i thought that i’m unlucky😂, i’m sorry about it men, i mean there is still a long road till 152 but that still sucks! and i guess dmr req required is 5 or 6? i mean mostly when you reach that req level there is still some good amount of time before the match ends! unless it’s really not your day and you’re playing bad fsr
