when Big Team Battle drops later this year I hope it comes with at least 6 maps, anything less and 343i may as well just give the BTB players the finger. We were told there would be 6 Warzone maps but we only get to play on 3 in either playlist!!! Being a BTB player I already miss fighting over power weapons and vehicles, the idea of here’s a disposable card for you to use, what! You were killed on the spawn and didn’t get to use it!!! Too bad. Is not my idea of fun, don’t get me wrong Warzone is enjoyable (if you don’t get dumped on severs that are over 2000 miles away) but it’s no big team.
I only wish 343i weren’t so determined to shove their new game mode down our throats that they sacrificed what they have openly admitted is one of the communities favourite playlists.
I understand it’s disappointing that it didn’t come out immediately with BTB. A lot of people don’t like that, I understand that, but give them a break. They are trying to make the game their own. Promoting their own game types isn’t a crime, and it’s not like they aren’t bringing the old ones back. Just be patient.
They need to release modes later on to try and keep and the community going and not have it die off like Halo 4. Halo 4 had no legs, Halo 5 has 2…that are banana shaped…and brittle.
I was under the impression that we would have 3 maps at launch with another 3 warzone maps coming later. The achievement that says win a round on the 3 orginal maps to me backs up what I said.

Bungies second game in the Halo franchise blew all competition out of the water, all I’m saying is that BTB needs more than the usual 3-4 maps that come in a DLC pack. This is 343i second game and this is the second time BTB players have had to wait for their favourite game type. The more you play this game the more the MLG/Esports vibe comes through, at least 95% Halo gamers will never be that good, therefore this game was built for the minority where 343i and Microsoft can make more money. Don’t be fooled by the free DLC either, they know that after the garbage that were the map packs in Halo 4 most players wouldn’t buy them. Bungies Halo is a hard act to follow, and unfortunately 343i are choosing to make extremely bad mistakes with the multiplayer. Every decision that has gone into Halo 5 multiplayer is to make it the most competitive game ever, maybe it is a fine line to walk, but 343i are stamping all over that line without a care in the world.
I actually really enjoy warzone and not having to race everyone to power weapons or vehicles, then having to worry if my teammates will kill me for the weapon or damage my vehicle.

But it’s not their own… sure they own the rights to it or w/e but people want what they want and if you don’t deliver it’s your fault. Halo has expectations… meet them.
