It is unlikely the ORIGINAL Cortana will remain as i’m guessing 343 or indeed even MS don’t wish to alarm anyone with how she looked back then all tomboy. I can just imagine the line about how a short haired Cortana doesn’t have as much -Yoink!- appeal. Hope i’m wrong but i doubt it
Strange though because Anniversary is supposed to be a real fan service and one that 343 themselves have said they want intact. I really like the Halo3 Cortana model but it’s a different game for crying out loud
Have to wait and see but i will care just that bit less than i already do for 343 and how they do things should they have dropped the ball here
Cool, hopefully the same model carries into the Halo 2 remake, if it happens. It’ll be nice to see a consistent AI look, as they’re supposed to be, not “Hey, Cortana you… grew hair?” then “You… Gained a little weight?”

Oh thank God she has her Halo 3/Reach model! She does looks awesome.

Agreed, however I am still iffy about her Halo 4 model…she looked like she was wearing a diaper, look at this picture (and try enlarging it for a better look):

Considering that this photo was from a teaser trailer from a game that’s not even in alpha stage in development, I would not call that a final build (or anywhere near a final build.)
I honestly hope it’s the halo 3 model, the model for CE is so ugly

Looks like they chose the Halo 3 model. Great choice. Cortana looked great in that game. (And in Halo 2, but she was purple and that doesn’t really fit.)
Hopefully they’ll fix the awful Halo 4 model. Her hair is blue! Not black! And she’s not supposed to look like she has clothes on!
We can probably get an idea of how she looks from the Cortana avatar item, kinda like how the pre-order Master Chief avatar skin was the first real look at the Chief’s look in Anniversary long before they start showing the actual levels and BTS.
Search BTS: campaign for Halo anniversary. If you pause at the right time you can see her. She looks like Halo 3’s model…very similar.
I hope she still changes colors with the new model.

I think you have that backwards, she is purple in CE and that’s why she is purple in Reach, in every other game she is blue.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the new-look Cortana. It’ll definately be interesting to see what they’ve done with her look. Now if we could just get a look at the Flood…
So far this is the only image we have of her in CEA. We probably wont get a decent look at her until the game comes out. I wouldn’t be surprised if her appearance will reflect gardening tool she’ll appear in Halo 4.
I prefer her H2 appearance over any other we have seen so far, but it seems she has her H3 looks and then to think this is H1 we’re talking about 
Yeah exactly, this is supposed to be Halo1 not the third game. I’m not so sure though 343 has actually gone ahead and placed H3 Cortana into anniversary’s new mode as Halo4’s trailer shows her short haired look again
343 stated this was basically a fan service for, ya know, the fans who loved Halo1 to begin with, so why the hell they’d want to replace the original Cortana really is truly beyond me other than men in suits pointing out it’s has less -Yoink!- appeal
I expect 343 to drop the ball on this and a couple of things but i very much hope to eat humble pie. I’ll be the first one on these forums to ridicule myself should it turn out things like the short -Yoinked!- Elites, Glitchy shotgun, and original Cortana replaced for no reason, are in fact just me talking out me bum
She’s in the behind the scenes campaign video in one of the remastered cutscenes. you would have to look closely cause the master chief is in the way. She looks like the halo 3 Cortana.
