Only BR/DMR and Magnum spawn with 2 default frags.
No Perks.
Set weapon spawns on set respawn timers.
No sprint.
4 second respawn time.
No join in session.
Do this and you would essentially have fixed the issue with Halo 4 not being competitive.

“Classic” failed epicly on Reach because they tried to make it a game it wasn’t, this must still be Halo 4 at core but competitive and purely skill/teamplay based.
An addition to my first post, I don’t even know why people would be against this. Why not just give people the choice? Options can only be good.

What your asking here is essentially “Classic Slayer” correct? Not that Reach thing, that was different.
I can see this being popular to a point, especially to the older players, and even possibly some of the new ones. Its not impossible to create, and If there is enough demand for such, 343i has no reason not to put it in.
I don’t to label it “Classic” because it would be implying that it is trying to replicate something.
I still want Halo 4 physics, guns etc, just a competitive version that eradicates the variations between players at initial spawn and puts some structure into games to create a more competitive game.
Barebones? Cod much? They have Slayer Pro and they will probably add a Classic playlist.

Slayer Pro is nothing like a good competitive Halo 4 – You have sprint.

If anything, DMR/AR loadouts should be used, because the BR is useless in this game.
We cannot disable instant spawn in this game, and Slayer Pro does not have any weapons on the map.
a weapon like the dmr has no place in any fps type game. BR, AR,Carbine, heck even LR, but no dmr. No rifle that makes it so you don’t have to engage at at least medium range should ever be in any fps.
