As per the title . Tonight I’ve tried player 3 games only managed 1 . I played one whole game and two half games . The servers were absolutely awful as they were so unplayable I had to quit out of one match and simply turned the console off for the other . I couldn’t give a toss about sandbox updates when this is still going on 2 years down the line . When are we or will we see some quality improvements on the playability of this game ? So disappointed as when it works I friggen love the game but it’s so infrequent it just frustrates the hell out of me , I’d say this is one of the major reasons players don’t stick around and tbh if this wasn’t a halo game either would I . Please some quality of life fixes 343 I beg of you !!!
custom games is horrific right now. when the game ends, freezes last about 10 minutes. This has been a known problem since the custom browser released and now with each halo update it just gets worse and worse. Right now its pathetic they let the problem get this far. Will we see a fix? I dont even think they know how to fix it. Its probably a -Yoink!- mess theyve made were they are now probably just gonna ignore it and rebuild it better in halo 6.

They were loads better before the update for me . I’m based in the U.K. So probably different depending where you are . Also some of my uk based friends have also expressed there disgust for the servers ATM

The servers for me never started having issues till they started doing updates to improve them for other players that were having issues.
If you’re in the UK then you’re simpy being matched on foreign servers.
Try searching focused (will only match you on local servers, but might take awhile, try to search only during popular UK times, 8-9pm ish I guess)
I’m from AU and the game is just so dead locally, have to play on foreign servers to get consistent games but the game is not really worth playing in that much lag. I’m an Onyx level player and I can only really compete at a platinum/diamond level on the foreign servers - what would normally be a tight win 1v1 becomes a trade, what would normally be a trade becomes a loss, what would normally be a slight loss becomes a really fast death where you can’t at least return damage. Very frustrating. And it’s not really fun for the actaul plat - diamond players in AU when I make a smurf and just roflstomp them. It’s not really fun for me to just muck around and lean back, let them get kills etc…
It’s just a tough situation caused by lack of population.

Same here buddy , I’ve tried the focused search it takes so long to find a game if at all. And I play when I have a chance not at a specific time , I should be able to put the game in and just play even with a lower population. I don’t play arena at all now as it’s unplayable but when I did I had exactly the same problem as you. I struggled against golds but the last time I did my placement matches the servers were ok and at least consistent so I went straight into diamond with ease , I would love the chance to play the game and get the same full experience as some people get. I wish 343 were a little bit more commutative and acknowledged issues and discussed what there doing etc etc more like how they were recently when talking about mcc or the sandbox updates.
