Week of january 15th we will see the patch released, considering the trend we have been seeing now. So we will most likely see a preview of the new update on the following monday or tuesday of the week of january 4th because that is when Holiday doubles and social is over
It’s normally around the 15th of a month.
That’s when it was for the Dec update.
The weapon skins will be an American based Patriotism one and a wolf in front of the full moon.
You can expect to see, I think MK IV return in a crappy form.
A possible 4 new maps in multiplayer. These maps might all be forged but we did see the making of a yet unreleased lava based map.
A version of the Carbine which shoots needles instead of standard bullets, similar to the needle rifle from reach.

Based of the previous updates, a new gametype and playlist might see release this month.
You can expect to see the return of old emblems that are not currently included in the game
Other versions of the Carbine is a possibility
I’d expect further game types perhaps a classic like Oddball returning. Perhaps they’ll drop Infection with some cool Flood themed and Infection specific maps?
There will be new REQs as mentioned.
Probably another four maps.
Season reset.
Maybe some new items for Forge.
Balancing.
Hopefully some UI interface improvements.
Playlist updates.
